Monday-itis

WOOHOO it’s the end of Day 1 and I want to start with some reflection on my introductory week last week…I am really enjoying the classes at Les Mills Christchurch City and beginning to get used to getting a sweat up and pushing my body again. Everyone I have met at the gym has been super friendly and encouraging and my gym buddy Johanna has been really supportive and enthusiastic- props to you for that Jo, you rock!

The thing that seemed to be my downfall last week was my huge appetite and increased carb cravings! I understand that this was probably a response to the change from a sedentary lifestyle to more regular exercise but it was still incredibly frustrating. I am a self confessed 'foodie' and I hate to deprive myself but at the end of the day something has to give in order for me to reach my goals. This is going to be a huge challenge for me so at the moment I have decided to focus my energies on increasing and maintaining my exercise. Once I get my fitness up I can work on cutting down my daily calorie consumption- the motto here is one step at a time...

My goals for this week are…

Monday- BODYPUMP 4.45pm    <--NAILED IT
Tuesday- SHBAM 7pm
Wednesday- BODYBALANCE 7.15am, Walk home (40min)
Thursday- BODYPUMP 6.15am, Walk home (40 min)
Friday- Rest Day
Saturday- SHBAM 11am
Sunday- BODYBALANCE 12pm

I love the quote you used Pizey and also the beautiful and inspirational photo of Jennie Runk ‘wolf whistle’…nothing against the stunning Candice Swanapoel but I agree- I want a more realistic and achievable role model to aspire to so give me some more junk in the trunk!

My two favourite body idols of the moment thanks to their beautiful curves and endless sex appeal are Christina Hendricks and Kate Upton- CHECK THEM OUT!!!

Until next time
